#53: Foreign Film Fest
” Not that the Gene Wilder version wasn’t creepy as heck…
Whew, almost through my first work week back… it hasn’t been as bad as I feared. Still really tired though, hopefully I can catch up on sleep this weekend.
So last night I was switching between watching the tv broadcast of “So You Think You Can Dance” while watching my netflix dvd of “The Ultimate Fighter: Season 8″ during the commerical breaks. I mentioned this to Jamie (In His Likeness comic) over a text and he said he then thought of “So You Think You Can Fight.” I would totally watch that show… bring in auditioner/fame seekers and have em fight in the octogon. Heh.
Thanks for all the welcome backs, have a great weekend!

Gene Wilder was VERY creepy.
All I could picture was the Battle Royal body counter in the corner of the screen.

Susan the Gene Wilder version scarred me for life… they should really warn a 10 year old just how trippy/scary that movie is. =P

yeah I would watch “so you think you can fight” especially if Mary martin was one of the celebrities. I actually love SYTYCD but can barely watch it because of that woman’s screams.
out of curiosity, is this Japaneses version a real thing?!?

Taiyama, after seeing the promos for some of their actual movies I’d be hard pressed to argue that. Heh.

Aaron and John, as far as I know there is no such movie. Yet. But yeah I chose that one because I could totally see it being done. =)

That’s why I hate modern anime adaptions of classic books. The pervasive thought around them is “we’ll make them better than the original”.
I miss the 60’s-80’s anime adaptions. =’(
